Small International Bridge
This small bridge holds the secrets of many different people: lovers, cigarette and alcohol smugglers, fishermen and even tourists. Built at the turn of the century (around 1906), the bridge was originally wider and linked the counties of Pohénégamook and Estcourt. Unbeknownst the original bridge workers, they were building a border bridge between Canada and the U.S. but official borders had not yet to be established at the time.
