La maison de la Prune

La Maison de la Prune is a plum orchard, a museum and a family-owned and operated business that revived one of the oldest horticultural traditions on the lower St. Lawrence’s South Shore: cultivating Damson Plum trees (pruniers de Damas). The old style general store offers a complete line of delicious homemade plum products, considered by many to be a regional delicacy. From August 1st until October 15th. Store hours: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Guided tours on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Limited number of visitors per tour (reservations needed). Duration of the visit: 1h30. Free admission.

Le Jardin des Pèlerins

Located about half a mile east of the Border Route, this produce farm offers local organic products.
Products: Sel du pèlerin (herb salt), seasonal fruits and vegetables, fine herbs, Chante-Sel (forest mushroom salt) and Méga Pic-sel.
Québec Vrai Certified produces.
Business hours: Farm kiosk is opened from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from April to November.
